Who We Are
Pyramid Studios is a North Georgia based independant filmmaking company. Simply, we're the little guy. Independant in that our movies are shot, edited, produced, directed and marketed purely without the aid of any professional, big-wig movie company like 20th Century Fox, Touchstone, Caravan, Binding Edge, MGM or any other popular name. That's right: We stand on our own two feet. |
What We're About
Basically, we're about making people laugh. Although serious film work is in our future, we specialize in comedies. It's all about the laughs. Through our premieres and distribution, we bring films to the people that they can watch over and over again. Films that are decent, bold, creative, and fun to watch: for anyone. Kids and adults alike have seen and loved our films. Have you? |

Cast and Crew
Pyramid Studios is not an actual studio. Obviously, we do not rivel the Warner Brothers lot. But we do the work of a studio, and therefore feel we've earned that title. The filmmaking began, and continues, with two cornerstone members, Jack Watts and Dustin Blaylock. Although Jack had been making home movies since he was old enough to pick up a camera, when he met Dustin their career in the cinema took off. Since then, they've both studied acting and film. Jack has devoted great time to the study of cinematography, and the ways of professional, Hollywood films. He has been called "the Steven Speilberg of the new millenium," and is doing his best to live up to that title.
With Jack writing and directing and usually acting as well, Dustin handles the post-production editing along with his roles. This is obviously an intergrel part to good filmmaking, since many films are judged purely by their special effects. Our last film was also our first edited with computer technology, "On the Beat," and contained a few computer effects. However, in comparison with up and coming attractions, these effects were child's play.
Other actors have worked in association with the studio before, including Edward Gordon Roberts III, James Watts, Julian Brewster, Aaron Wingo, Terry Sweirc, Lori Blaylock, Mellie Wren Herrod, Rachel Day, Richie Noverola, and others.
If you're interested in an acting job, there's no money in it. On the other hand, we can offer you the satisfaction of acheivement and your own copy of your very own "almost Hollywood" movie--with you in it.
